Call Correction
When subscribers roam, differences in international dialling conventions can cause calls to fail. Numbers may be dialled without the correct international prefix, with an incorrect country code, or with a trunk digit that is not valid in the destination network.
Call Correction identifies and corrects these dialled numbers in real time before call setup, ensuring the call is routed correctly. The process is transparent to the subscriber, with the call connecting as expected.
The module applies country-specific correction rules and can be configured to reflect the dialling conventions of each destination market. This reduces failed call attempts, improves subscriber experience, and lowers roaming-related support queries.
