OTA Server
The Cellusys OTA Server enables operators to remotely manage SIM cards and devices at scale, without requiring physical access or subscriber involvement. Commands and payloads are delivered securely over the air to update SIM parameters, provision services, and manage applets across the entire subscriber base.
The platform supports both SMS-based OTA (using standard 3GPP mechanisms) and Bearer Independent Protocol (BIP) over HTTPS for high-speed, high-volume delivery. This dual-bearer approach ensures compatibility across legacy and modern network environments, including LTE and 5G where traditional SMS may not be available.
Operators manage OTA campaigns through a centralised web-based console, with granular targeting by subscriber segment, device type, SIM version, or geography. Full audit logging captures all campaign activity, delivery status, and device responses, supporting compliance, troubleshooting, and operational reporting.
The server is designed to scale from single-operator deployments to large-scale multi-tenancy environments, supporting MVNO hosting and IoT device management alongside consumer SIM operations.
