SMS Firewall & A2P SMS
The SMS Firewall controls and protects messaging traffic across SMS interconnect, addressing spam, grey route bypass, and fraudulent messaging while enabling operators to manage legitimate A2P SMS flows.
The platform inspects SMS traffic in real time, applying rule-based classification and traffic analysis to identify grey route activity and unauthorised messaging. Detected traffic can be blocked, filtered, or redirected through approved channels in line with operator-defined policy.
For A2P SMS, the module provides flow control, sender identification, and policy enforcement across different traffic categories. Legitimate enterprise messaging is delivered through approved routes, while unsolicited or fraudulent traffic is prevented from reaching subscribers.
All rules and policies are operator-configurable, allowing day-to-day control over messaging traffic, revenue protection, and service quality without requiring vendor involvement.
