Voice Firewall
The Voice Firewall detects and controls voice fraud and revenue leakage across both circuit-switched and IP-based voice networks. It analyses call traffic in real time to identify patterns associated with fraud, including CLI spoofing, IRSF, Wangiri, PBX compromise, and traffic pumping.
The platform evaluates call characteristics such as originating number, destination, routing behaviour, and traffic volumes to detect anomalies. Known fraudulent number ranges, unexpected traffic spikes, and suspicious routing patterns are identified and acted upon according to configured policy.
Configurable actions include blocking, rerouting, rate limiting, or alerting. Thresholds and response policies can be defined by traffic category, destination, or origination, allowing operators to manage fraud exposure while maintaining control over legitimate traffic.
The module supports both inbound and outbound voice scenarios, providing continuous visibility and control over voice traffic behaviour without requiring vendor involvement for day-to-day tuning.
