Diameter Routing Agent (DRA)
The Diameter Routing Agent (DRA) provides centralised routing and load balancing for Diameter signalling across LTE, IMS and EPC environments. It manages authentication, policy, charging, and roaming-related signalling traffic within a unified control layer.
The platform centralises routing decisions and distributes traffic across Diameter servers, reducing dependency on direct point-to-point connections between network elements. This simplifies network topology and provides a single control point for managing Diameter routing policy.
Traffic is balanced across available nodes, with automatic failover ensuring resilience and service continuity. The DRA enables operators to scale Diameter signalling efficiently while maintaining visibility and control over routing behaviour.
