Security Edge Protection Proxy (SEPP)
The Security Edge Protection Proxy (SEPP) secures inter-PLMN signalling in 5G networks, controlling traffic exchanged between home and visited operators across network boundaries.
The platform enforces topology hiding, preventing exposure of internal network structure, including network function identities and addressing. It also authenticates and validates inter-PLMN signalling, providing message-level security aligned with 3GPP standards.
All 5G interconnect signalling is processed through the SEPP, ensuring secure communication between operators while maintaining control over signalling behaviour at the network edge.
The module is compliant with 3GPP N32 interface specifications and integrates with other signalling and security elements, including Signalling Firewall and DRA, to provide a unified approach to interconnect control across legacy and 5G environments.
