Signalling Transfer Point (STP)
The Signalling Transfer Point (STP) provides high-capacity SS7 routing and interconnect control for legacy 2G and 3G signalling networks. It manages Global Title Translation (GTT), message routing, traffic screening, and protocol interworking across interconnected networks.
The platform ensures reliable distribution of signalling traffic for voice, roaming, and SMS services, maintaining service continuity across complex interconnect environments. It supports multiple SS7 protocol variants and national standards, enabling consistent routing across diverse network configurations.
Integration with IP-based networks is supported through SIGTRAN, allowing deployment in mixed SS7/IP environments. Routing, screening, and traffic control policies are fully configurable, giving operators control over signalling behaviour without requiring vendor involvement for day-to-day changes.
